iPhone is something that everyone admires of and this is only because of its cool features that puts it on a much higher platform than other mobiles. But do we know that an iPhone has 6 inbuilt sensors.
Here is a list of all the sensors which makes an iPhone distinguishable among the crowd. Here we go :
1) Proximity Sensors:
This sensor can determine how close the iPhone is to your face, or any other body part. This sensor helps the iPhone to automatically turn off its screen while you are talking. The advantage of this sensor is that it prevents the unnecessary or unintentional button clicks by the touch of your face while you are talking.
2) Accelerometer:
This sensor enables the iPhone to automatically change its orientation from landscape to portrait or vice-versa to give the best experience while working. In many apps, this sensor helps in checking whether the iPhone is moving or it still at one place. Hence, this feature is also referred to as Motion Sensor.
The accelerometer can measure the distance traveled by you while running or walking. When this feature is combined with the GPS then it accurately captures your movements.
3) Ambient Light Sensor:
This sensor grabs the information about the light around the iPhone and with the help of this, it automatically chooses the correct amount of brightness for itself, thus enhancing the battery back up.
4) Moisture Sensor:
It is another cool sensor in iPhone. The water/moisture sensor is a little red tab that appears in the dock connector when the phone has been submerged in the water. It can also appear as a red dot inside the headphone jack. If you are buying a used iPhone, its a good idea to check for this indicator to make sure that the device has not been damaged by water.
5) Gyroscope:
The iPhone contains a 3-axis gyroscope in it. A gyroscope is a device which is used to closely measure and maintain the orientation of the device, and is based on angular momentum.
6) Barometer: (available in iPhone 6 plus only)
The Barometer sensor is used to actually measure the air pressure around you to determine your relative elevation. So, as you move up you can keep a track of your elevation gain. It can even measure the stairs or hills climbed by you.
7) Gravity Sensor:
This sensor measures that how above is your iPhone handset to some surface. This sensor is not that much useful to common people but seems very cool some of the apps and realistic games.
8) Air Pressure:
This sensor is added solely to measure the atmospheric pressure around you , more specifically the pressure that iPhone is experiencing on the body surface.
So, this were all about the exciting sensors of the iPhone. Hope this might help some of you to enhance intimacy with your iPhone.
