Ever given a thought over the quality of air you are breathing ? Or, ever felt interested in getting the familiar with the air around you ? I hope the answer is NO in 99% of the cases. Obviously, we humans are always good at consumption only when it is available for FREE.
Here's a free app, SAFAR-air which tells us about the every minute detail of the air that we breathe in. Isn't that interesting ? The Ministry of Earth Sciences(MoES) has launched this smartphone app to provide the data to people.

Presently, the app is launched in Delhi (National Capital of India). Soon, it will be launched for use in other metropolitan cities-Pune, Kolkata, Mumbai. Then on a global level also.

This app is really a one of its own type giving live statistics to people. It would prove beneficial in countries where pollution and bad air quality is a big problem.
