Feel the need of accessing internet while at metro stations? The answer is Yes in most of the cases. Obviously, internet access has become an essential need now for everyone. Whether it be your Whatsap, Twitter, Gmail or video conferencing - you need internet.

DMRC - Delhi Metro Rail Corporation has considered the need of internet as a necessity now, DMRC has planned to provide the free Wi-Fi connectivity at the Metro users at certain stations. Initially, the plan will be implemented at 5 Metro Stations only (just as a trial you can say).

Eager to know which stations are those? Well, here is the list.

1)  Rajiv Chowk
2)  Kashmere Gate

3)  Vishwavidyalaya
4)  Central Secretariat
5)  Hauz Khas

DMRC has signed an agreement with the RailTel Corporation of India for providing Wi-Fi internet services at the above selected stations. The installation of Wi-Fi routers at these stations will be accomplished in next seven months. RailTel will look after the maintenance of these devices thereafter.

Presently this is limited at the stations, outside trains only. I suggest the internet services should be provided inside trains also. What do you say ?
