Gmail - Enable The Undo Send Feature

Oops, I missed the attachment ... Shit, I made that mistake.... These words mostly sneak out of our mouth when we realize a mistake in the email which we just sent. I am damn sure this must have happened with you many times. Well, here is the solution to this.

You can UNDO the email on Gmail that you just sent. Yes, you have heard it right. This "Undo/Send" feature is being provided since six years by Google in their most popular mailing app i.e. Gmail but most of us are unaware of it.

By default, this feature is disabled in Gmail. Here, are simple steps with which you can enable it:

1) Open your Gmail

2) Go To the Settings Icon present on left side of your screen

3) Click the 'Settings' option from the drop down.

3) Scroll down the screen and look for the "Enable Undo Send" option.

4) Check this option

5) Just below it, "Send Cancellation Period" drop down will be activated

Send Cancellation Period is the time for which the option saying "Undo Send Message" will be there on your screen after you have sent the message. After your Selected Time is over, the option will disappear.

6) Choose the number of seconds according to your convenience

7) And, it done!!

Next time when you will send any email then the Undo option will be displayed on your screen as shown in image below.

Just Press this Undo before it disappears and your message will be retrieved to you for editing.
Enjoy Mailing. :)

I hope this was helpful for you. Please share this with others also. :)
