Wealth Health Organization (WHO) has surveyed and estimated that around 372,000 drowning deaths happen per year.

When it comes to safety from water, the best escape is air. I hope you all agree to that. Kingii, is the all new tech gadget specially designed for saving people from drowning. This is basically a wrist band which one has to wear while in water and yippie, you are safe.

WORKING
Kingii has a capsule like structure on it which is filled with CO2 in it. It has a trigger fixed there which when pulled inflates a balloon like structure with the gas which in turn acts like a floating device. All this happens in just one second.

After this, the floating bag drags you to the water surface. The gadget is stuck with your wrist until you release it by yourself. Thanks to the special locking system.

Once released, this floating bag can keep you up to water surface for next 48 hours. Bright Orange color is chosen so that it can be seen from long distances. Moreover, as security feature a Whistle is also been provided so that the person can call for help in the places where visibility is quite poor.

After the Kingii has been used once, it can be used again and again as many times as you want. All you have to do is, you have to replace the gas cylinder. The process is very easy. You have to twist the capsule cover, open it, pull out the empty cylinder and replace it with a new one. And you are done!!

EVOLUTION
Kingii is founded by an insurance agent from California named, Tom Agapiades. He realized the need of such a gadget when a friend of his drowned in a lake few years ago. He was very much disturbed with his death and had many sleepless nights after that. Then he decided to make Kingii.

It is named after a lizard which inflates its neck like a balloon when it feels danger around.

Kingii has been declared as the smallest inflating tech gadget till date.
